Morocco Ranks 6th in Top Destinations for French Tourists, Sales Up 39%

Morocco is among the top 10 most sought-after destinations by French tourists. This is revealed by a survey conducted by a specialized platform.
Overall, travel sales made by physical and online agencies in April 2022 are up 18% compared to 2019, reveals the Orchestra Barometer for L’Écho touristique. With a growth of 39% (VS 2019), Morocco takes the 6th position in the top 20 best-selling destinations, carried out in April 2022 by the Orchestra barometer. The kingdom is behind Tunisia (4th, with 22% of sales) but ahead of Turkey (7th) and Egypt (8th).
Spain takes the top spot, with a 70% growth, followed by Greece (34%) and France (13%). Jordan (18%), Malta (11%), Martinique (49%) and Guadeloupe (16%) round out the podium.
