Morocco Ranks 6th in Top Destinations for French Tourists in July

Morocco is in the top 10 of the most visited destinations by French tourists in July. This is the result of the ranking of the Orchestra barometer.
The Orchestra barometer carried out for the French specialized magazine l’Écho touristique the top 20 tourist destinations in July 2022. It emerges from this ranking that Morocco is the sixth most visited country last month behind Tunisia (4th), Turkey (5th) and ahead of Egypt (9th). Spain, Greece and metropolitan France occupy the top three places in this ranking. Martinique (18th), Guadeloupe (19th) and Maldives complete the top 20.
In its ranking, the Orchestra barometer was based on the performance and sales achieved by travel agencies (offline and online). Overall, travel sales made by physical and online agencies increased by 3% in July 2022 versus July 2019. Sales between France and Morocco have jumped by 59% compared to 2019.
