Morocco Surges to Top 3 Travel Destinations for French Tourists, Bookings Up 94%

According to the Orchestra Barometer for L’Écho touristique, travel sales, across all destinations, made by physical and online travel agencies, increased by 7% in November 2022 compared to November 2019.

In the top 10 of the most booked destinations in November with French travel agencies, Spain is in the lead, with more than 37% of bookings in November 2022 compared to November 2019. It is followed by the Dominican Republic, which recorded 41% of bookings, and Morocco (94%). Egypt, Tunisia, Greece and Mauritius then follow. Mexico, Tanzania and Thailand complete the top 10.
