Morocco Sees 91% Surge in British Bookings, Ranks 2nd Most Popular Destination

Morocco has risen in the ranking of the five most booked destinations by the British, compiled by a famous travel agency.
Morocco is the second most booked destination by the British in the ranking compiled by the travel agency loveholidays. The kingdom has seen a 91% increase in bookings in January 2023 compared to January 2020 marked by the Covid-19 pandemic. France tops this ranking with a 119% increase in bookings in January 2023 compared to January 2020. In France, tourists spent £50 billion in 2022, an amount that exceeds the 2019 spending level by £1.7 billion, reveals Atout France.
With an 89% increase in bookings, Italy ranks third. Egypt (87%) and Portugal (71%) complete the top 5. These destinations are the most popular with the British for the summer 2023 holidays.
