Morocco Ranks 10th in Africa for Affordable Mobile Internet, Global Study Finds

Morocco offers one of the best prices for accessing mobile Internet in Africa. It is ranked 10th on the continent in terms of the cost of mobile Internet, according to a report by the website Cable.co.uk.
The cost of mobile Internet in Africa is one of the lowest, according to a report by the website Cable.co.uk. With an average price of one gigabyte of mobile data estimated at $0.88, Morocco is ranked 10th, ahead of Tunisia which is in 14th place with $1.09. Algeria holds the first place in this ranking with an average price of $0.51, ahead of Somalia ($0.6), Ghana ($0.66) or Libya ($0.74).
On a global scale, Morocco is 45th out of 230 countries evaluated, far ahead of Tunisia ranked 59th and behind Algeria which is in 16th place. With an average price of one gigabyte of data estimated at $0.05, Israel occupies the first place in the global ranking. Equatorial Guinea, on the other hand, brings up the rear with an average cost estimated at $49.67.
