Morocco’s Rabat Stadium to Host 2020 CAF Confederation Cup Final

The Moulay Abdellah complex in Rabat has been selected to host the 2019-2020 CAF Cup final on May 29.
The candidatures of the African cities wishing to host the inter-club competitions were unveiled this Friday by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). According to the continental football body, the Moulay Abdellah complex in Rabat was the only stadium to submit its candidacy to host this continental sporting event.
Alone and without a competitor, the complex, with a total capacity of 52,000 seats, including 30,000 covered seats, will therefore officially host the final scheduled for May 24.
Two Moroccan clubs, namely the Renaissance Sportive de Berkane and the Hassani d’Agadir, are still in the running in this competition. They will be able to secure their ticket to the semi-finals this weekend in case of victory against their respective challenger.
