Moroccan Clubs Secure Millions in CAF Champions League Semi-Final Bonuses

The two Moroccan clubs, Raja and Wydad of Casablanca, have benefited from a large financial envelope from the Confederation of African Football and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FMRF), after the two teams qualified for the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League.
9.75 million dirhams. This is the amount of the bonuses offered by the two continental and national bodies to the two teams for their exploit. In detail, the CAF paid the sum of 8.75 million dirhams, while the FRMF paid one million to the two clubs.
To reach the semi-finals, Raja validated its qualification ticket after eliminating TP Mazembe. As for Wydad of Casablanca, it freed itself from Étoile du Sahel.
Note that in the semi-finals, Raja faces the Egyptian club Zamalek, and Wydad also faces the Egyptian, Al Ahly.
