CAF Cup Final Set for Rabat’s Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium on May 24

The Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat is now designated to host the final of the CAF Cup (2019-2020 season) on May 24.
According to a statement from the African football body, the Champions League final will be played on May 29 at the Japoma Stadium in Douala, Cameroon.
The choice of the two host cities for these finals was made after evaluating the various files received, taking into account the existence of the necessary equipment such as infrastructure, accommodation and health services. This year, the finals of the Champions League and the CAF Cup will be played in a single leg and on neutral ground.
While the Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat was the only one in the running before being designated to host the CAF Cup, the Japoma Stadium had the Mohammed V sports complex in Casablanca and the Radès Stadium in Tunisia as competitors to host the Champions League final.
It should be noted that the Champions League semi-finals will pit the Moroccan clubs of Raja and Wydad of Casablanca against the Egyptians of Zamalek and Al Ahly respectively. As for the last four of the CAF Cup, it will pit Renaissance Berkane and Hassania Agadir, in the first semi-final, and Pyramids (Egypt) against Horoya Conakry, in the second.
