Morocco Bids to Host CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup Finals

Morocco has volunteered to host the finals of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) club competitions.
According to an FRMF official, quoted by the Arridiya television channel, the 2020 Champions League final will be organized at the Mohammed V stadium in Casablanca. As for the Moulay Abdellah complex in Rabat, it will serve as the venue for the final of the African Confederation Cup.
To organize this major event of African football, the Kingdom is competing with two other countries: South Africa, which has applied to host the Champions League final on May 29, or the Confederation Cup final on May 24; and Rwanda, which has also submitted its candidacy to host one of the two finals.
