CAF Cup Resumes: Morocco to Host Semi-Finals and Final in September

After more than three months of interruption, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the resumption of some competitions. Unlike the CAN which has been postponed for a year, the semi-finals and final of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Cup will take place in Morocco next September.
This decision was made during a videoconference meeting in which members of the continental football body participated. According to CAF, the semi-finals of the two competitions will be played in a single match.
Regarding the semi-finals and final of the Champions League, they should be held next September in Cameroon. As for the CAF Awards ceremony, the 2020 edition has simply been canceled.
In addition, CAF has allocated an additional $16.2 million to alleviate the financial burden of member associations in a context marked by the COVID-19 pandemic. In this regard, each member association should receive an amount of $300,000.
