While the Marhaba operation is officially scheduled to begin on June 15, the various institutions are already at work at the Tanger Med port where the first summer vacationers are being welcomed.
The 2M channel went there to gauge the measures put in place to welcome from the beginning of this operation some 43,000 passengers and 10,000 cars per day.
As reported a few days ago, the Tanger-Med port authority has built 8 new sanitary blocks, new catering points in the ticketing area, a play area for children, in addition to strengthening assistance services for people with reduced mobility.
There is also talk of an increase in human resources on site and the launch in a few days of a new website in three languages.
