Morocco’s National Team Departs for Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon

As part of the Africa Cup of Nations taking place from January 9 to February 6, 2022, the Atlas Lions took a flight this Sunday to go to Yaoundé. They will face the Stallions of Burkina Faso in a friendly match on January 6.
The group of Moroccan players selected for the Africa Cup of Nations has flown to Yaoundé, the city that will host the group stage matches of Morocco starting January 9.
The national team held its last training session on Saturday at the Mohammed VI complex in Maâmora with 20 players. The rest will join the group in Yaoundé. The Atlas Lions will play their first match on January 10 against the Black Stars of Ghana.
