Morocco’s Full Squad Trains in Cameroon Ahead of Africa Cup of Nations Opener

Three days after their arrival in Cameroon to take part in the Africa Cup of Nations, the Moroccan players were able to train as a full squad on Wednesday. Vahid Halilhodzic will be able to make the final adjustments in order to face the Ghanaian team on January 10.
It is with the full squad that the Atlas Lions had their training session on Wednesday. Arrived last Sunday in Cameroon to take the time to adapt to the Cameroonian climate, the men of Vahid Halilhodzic are chaining the training sessions. They have only one goal: to go as far as possible in the competition.
On Tuesday, the players had a new training session in a good atmosphere on the annex pitch of the Ahmadou-Ahidjo multi-sport stadium in Yaoundé, reports the daily Al Massae, which specifies that the five players who were missing, have joined the group. These include Yassine Bounou, Munir El Haddadi, Badr Benoun and Youssef En-Nesyri.
The technical staff of the Moroccan national team has devised a program that can help the players adapt to the heat and humidity. Morocco starts the competition against Ghana, next Monday at the Ahmadou-Ahidjo stadium in Yaoundé. Four days later, they will face the Comoros, before ending the group stage of the CAN against Gabon, on Tuesday, January 18 on the same pitch.
