Morocco Offers Hefty Bonuses to National Team for Africa Cup of Nations Success
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has decided to award nice bonuses to all players for each round of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2022).
According to sources close to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), the Atlas Lions will each receive 300,000 DH if they get through the group stage, 400,000 DH in case of qualification for the quarter-finals, 500,000 DH for the semi-finals and 700,000 DH for second place, reports Le360. If Achraf Hakimi’s teammates win the CAN 2022 final, the Atlas Lions will each receive 1 million DH, or about 100,000 euros.
The CAN 2022 will be held from January 9 to February 6, 2022 in Cameroon. Morocco finds itself in Group C with Gabon, Ghana and the Comoros. The Atlas Lions will play their first match against the Black Stars of Ghana on January 10, will cross swords with the Coelacanths of the Comoros on the 14th, then the Panthères of Gabon on January 18.
