Morocco Mobilizes Private Doctors to Combat Coronavirus Crisis

Private sector doctors are being called upon to put their skills at the service of the fight against the common enemy, the coronavirus. Mohammadin Boubekri, President of the National Order of Physicians of Morocco, called on them on Monday to show patriotism and sacrifice for the good of all.
In a press release addressed to Moroccan doctors, the President of the National Order of Physicians has invited all regional councils to "the urgent establishment of regional committees and a census of all private sector doctors, according to their specialties and the available infrastructure".
Mohammadin Boubekri stated that his call is part of "the need to strengthen the public and university sector doctors, who have been the front-line soldiers since the beginning of this crisis". For him, it is also a question of filling "the needs of the Moroccan state and responding to the health needs of Moroccan citizens during this tense period".
He reassures private sector doctors of the measures put in place to guarantee their safety and remains convinced that they will spare no effort to respond to the call of the homeland.
