Moroccan Doctors Face Scrutiny for Closing Clinics Amid COVID-19 Crisis

Doctors who have closed their clinics in Casa-Settat, due to the current context marked by the covid-19 health crisis, will have to justify themselves.
In a letter addressed to his colleagues, the President of the Regional Council of Physicians (CROM), Dr. Abldekrim Zoubaidi, invited any offender to submit a handwritten request justifying the reason for the closure.
This request must include the personal number and email of the doctor, his personal address and a copy of his national identity card (CIN).
Furthermore, the reopening of the clinic also requires a handwritten request submitted for prior approval by the CROM medical practice commission.
It remains to be seen how the Council will be able to verify the closures and reopenings of clinics.
