Morocco Launches Plans for New Agadir Bypass Motorway to Boost Connectivity
The northeast bypass motorway of Agadir has been formalized by the Autoroutes du Maroc (Autoroutes du Maroc) company, which has just launched a call for tenders for the realization of the project definition study.
According to the newspaper Le Matin, this motorway will be developed between the Taghazout bypass and the Agadir Al-Massira airport, passing through the terminal section of the Marrakech-Agadir motorway.
Its objective is to better connect the current motorway to the port and the north of Agadir and better serve the airport from this area of the city, the same source specifies.
The new bypass motorway will have to serve all the communes and tourist areas of greater Agadir, as well as the industrial infrastructure of the city.
