This project is part of the "National Motorway Framework Scheme" which aims to develop the road network of the Kingdom," explains the European bank in a press release.

EIB Vice-President Emma Navarro says she is "pleased to be able to continue to support Morocco’s competitiveness, with which we are celebrating our forty years of cooperation, by improving connections on its territory, thus offering its population time savings, lower transport costs and increased road safety. This loan responds to Europe’s desire to support the development of Moroccan infrastructure. It will directly contribute to improving mobility and quality of life in a large city like Casablanca."
