Morocco Issues Weather Alert: Heavy Rains and Strong Winds Expected in Northern Regions

Heavy rains and showers are expected today and tomorrow, according to the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN) in a special bulletin.
These heavy rains (40 to 70 mm) will be recorded today at 10 p.m. until tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the provinces of Chefchaouen, Fahs-Anjra, Larcahe, Tanger, Assilah and the reliefs of Tétouan.
Locally moderate rains are also expected in the provinces of Kénitra, M’Diq-Fnideq and on the reliefs of Ouezzane and Taounate.
As for the fairly strong gusts of wind (60 to 70 km/h), they are expected in the Tangier region, the Rif, the plains north of Essaouira, the southeastern slopes, the High and Middle Atlas.
