Severe Weather Alert: Thunderstorms and Snow to Hit Multiple Moroccan Provinces

New weather alert in Morocco. Locally heavy thunderstorms will be frequent today and tomorrow, Friday, in several provinces of the kingdom, accompanied by snowfall in some regions.
According to the National Meteorology Directorate, these showers will affect, Thursday from 3pm to 11pm, the provinces of Ifrane, El-Hajeb, Khenifra, Khouribga, Settat, Rehamna and Youssoufia. They will sometimes be accompanied by thunderstorm gusts and hail.
During the day on Friday, heavy thunderstorms will be recorded from 1pm to 11pm in the provinces of Al-Haouz, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Midelt, Boulmane, Meknès, El-Hajeb, Khemisset, Khouribga, Settat, Fquih Ben Saleh, Rehamna, Kelâa Sraghna, Marrakech, Youssoufia, Chichaoua and the interior of Essaouira.
These same locally moderate disturbances, often accompanied by hail gusts, will also strike the provinces of Taza, Khenifra, Ifrane, Sefrou, Fez, Moulay Yaâcoub, Taounate, Guercif, Ouezzane, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Benslimane, Berrechid, Taroudant, Ouarzazate and Erachidia.
In addition, snowfall is expected on the peaks of the reliefs in the provinces of Al-Haouz, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Tinghir and Midelt, on Friday from 12:00 to 23:00.
