Morocco Issues Orange Alert as Heavy Rain and Strong Winds Sweep Coastal Regions

The bad weather persists in Morocco with heavy showers and strong winds this Friday, just warned the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN), which even speaks of an orange alert.
DMN indicates that strong gusts of wind at the orange level (75/95km/h) will affect Tangier-Assilah, Fahs-Anjra, M’diq-Fnideq, Tetouan, Larache, Chefchaouen, Al Hoceima, Ouezzane, Nador and Taza today.
According to the same source, other fairly strong southwest winds (55/70 km/h) are expected, Friday from 6am to midnight on the Saiss, the Mediterranean, the north of the Oriental, the other coasts north of El Jadida, Oulmès and the Middle Atlas.
In addition, heavy rains, also at the orange level, will affect Chefchaouen, Larache, Ouezzane, Tetouan, Taounate, Fahs-Anjra and Tangier-Assilah, Friday from noon to midnight.
