Morocco, Israel, and US Set to Strengthen Ties in 2023, Two Years After Normalization

2023 promises to be promising for the relations between Morocco, Israel and the United States, signatories of a tripartite agreement on December 22, 2020 in Rabat.

At the initiative of the Maroc Coexistence Association and the Israeli association Sharka, two NGOs working "for peace and prosperity", the second anniversary of the normalization of relations between Morocco and Israel was celebrated on Monday in Rabat. Diplomatic, economic and cultural personalities representing Rabat, Tel Aviv and Washington were present at this commemoration. It emerges that the relations between Morocco, Israel and the United States will be strengthened in 2023.

"We are preparing the 3rd year with a priority to be given to the economic field," said Alona Fisher-Kamm, acting head of the Tel Aviv liaison office in Rabat, to Le360, who notes a positive assessment of the Moroccan-Israeli relations. Eyal David, deputy to the head of the Israeli liaison office in Rabat, for his part, assured that the cooperation between these components will be consolidated in the future.
