Israel Launches Major Aquaculture Project in Moroccan Sahara, Strengthening Ties

Another project to the credit of the normalization of relations between Morocco and Israel. The Israeli Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Ofir Akunis, announced in New York during the work of the UN Water Conference that his country has launched a major project in the Moroccan Sahara.
In detail, the Israeli minister stated that it is an aquaculture project in the Moroccan Sahara. Since the resumption of relations between Morocco and Israel, there have been a significant number of agreements and partnerships in all sectors. Ofir Akunis welcomes the Abraham Accords signed between Morocco, the United States and Israel on December 22, 2020, which have given new momentum to the relations between the two countries.
According to the minister, "the tripartite agreement signed has opened the way to promising prospects" at the level of several sectors. This has motivated Israeli investments in the Sahara, such as this aquaculture project launched in the Moroccan Sahara. Whether in the military, cultural, sports, diplomatic or commercial fields, the two countries maintain good relations that are set to strengthen.
