Morocco Holds Steady at 40th in FIFA World Rankings, Third in Africa

The Atlas Lions maintain their 40th place in the latest world ranking just published by FIFA.
The Moroccan team has 1,440 points and is ranked third in Africa behind Senegal and Tunisia, ranked 23rd and 26th in the world respectively.
At the global level, Belgium is first with 1,727 points, one point better than France, the reigning world champion.
In the November ranking, the Lions had climbed 7 places, following their good performance in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
