Morocco Drops to 43rd in FIFA World Rankings, Faces Argentina Next

Three places lost. The Atlas Lions have just lost three places in the February FIFA ranking released on Thursday on its website. Morocco is now ranked 43rd in the world.
At the African level, Tunisia takes 24th place, followed by Senegal (28th), Nigeria (46th) and the Democratic Republic of Congo (51st).
France, world champion, is second in the world, behind Belgium. It is followed by Brazil, Croatia, England and Uruguay.
Morocco must face the Argentine team in a friendly match in March as part of the preparations for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, for which the Atlas Lions are already qualified.
It should be noted that when Hervé Renard arrived in February 2016, Morocco was ranked 80th in the world ranking, which is still nearly forty places better.
