Morocco’s Highway Authority Launches 24/7 Traffic Radio Station

Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) aims to create its own radio that will allow to follow road traffic full-time. In this sense, the company has just launched a call for tenders.
"Traffic radio", this is the name of the future station of the company Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM). It has launched a call for tenders worth more than 20 million DH for its realization, reports Le Desk. The European Investment Bank will finance this company up to 20.2 million dirhams. As for ADM, it will make a financial contribution of 8 million DH. This budget will be used for the equipment, installation, operation of the future radio as well as the maintenance service. ADM will also launch its radio on FM frequencies.
In 2019, ADM signed a loan contract with the European Investment Bank (EIB) for an amount of 75 million euros, or nearly 810 MDH, according to the 2019 annual report of the company. This loan is intended to finance the widening to 2x3 lanes of the ring roads of Casablanca and Casablanca-Berrechid. It also signed 52 agreements with international donors, and used in particular self-financing generated by the operation, bond issues and financing from donors.
