Morocco’s Highway Authority Targets 3.2 Billion Dirham Revenue, Expands Major Road Projects

The National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) plans a turnover of 3.2 billion dirhams (MMDH) this year and hopes to reach 1.9 million Jawaz subscribers. Major projects will also be continued.
During the Board of Directors meeting held on Tuesday, the company indeed approved the budget for this year, which is based on a turnover of 3.2 billion DH and a 2% increase in traffic, according to a press release.
ADM will continue this year the major projects, in particular the continuation of the work to triple the Casablanca - Berrechid motorway and the Casablanca bypass motorway, as well as the launch of the construction of the Tit Mellil - Berrechid motorway. These projects will require a total investment of 1.4 billion DH.
As for the renovations, some 87 km will be concerned with a 100% Moroccan ecosystem, the company also indicates. In addition, ADM intends to provide the kingdom with a radio dedicated to motorway users, "Radio Info Trafic 107.7", in order to improve the safety of motorway users.
