Morocco Government Spokesman Denies Cabinet Reshuffle Rumors

Minister Mustapha Baitas, government spokesman, reacted, during the press briefing on Thursday, April 7, 2022, to rumors of an imminent cabinet reshuffle.
For a few days, rumors have been circulating about a possible technical reshuffle of the Aziz Akhannouch government. During his press briefing, Mustapha Baitas formally denied these rumors, stating that they are false information spread by ill-intentioned people. "No reshuffle is planned," the spokesman said firmly. "There will be no reshuffle," he affirmed.
According to the rumors, this would be to give a new impetus to the team led by Aziz Akhannouch. Some newspapers like Assabah have even announced that eight ministers are about to leave for not having been up to the task entrusted to them.
