Morocco to Face Burkina Faso in 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier

Pending the recruitment of a new coach, the Moroccan national football team already knows the identity of its next opponent: Burkina Faso.
The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) is now behind the Atlas Lions. The next major deadline for the Moroccan team is the 2021 CAN. The Atlas Lions, as part of the qualifications for this new challenge, scheduled for next November, will face the Stallions of Burkina Faso, in September.
This challenger, very playable on paper, is to be taken seriously. Although they were eliminated from the 2019 CAN, the Stallions are ranked 61st in the FIFA ranking, 20 places behind the Atlas Lions. They will certainly try to take the advantage over the Moroccan team.
According to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), this agreement has been negotiated for the organization of this friendly match at the Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat. As part of this preparation, Morocco is ranked in group E, with Burundi, Mauritania and the Central African Republic.
