Morocco Edges Niger 1-0 in Friendly Match Ahead of AFCON Qualifiers

The Atlas Lions won 1-0 against the Mena of Niger in a friendly match played on Tuesday at the Grand Stadium in Marrakech. This result is a satisfaction for the Franco-Bosnian coach after the draw conceded against Burkina Faso.
Held in check by Burkina Faso on Friday with a 1-1 draw, the Moroccan national team achieved the feat on Tuesday by defeating Niger. The only goal of the match was scored by Walid El-Karti in the 21st minute of play.
These two matches are part of the preparations leading up to the qualifications for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN-2021) in Cameroon. Morocco, for its part, will start these days in November against Mauritania for the first day of group 5, which also includes the Central African Republic and Burundi.
With this result, Vahid is sheltered from criticism. Until when?
