Atlas Lions coach Vahid Halilhodzic does not believe his players will qualify for the 2022 World Cup, at least not with today’s level of play.
During the press conference, Vahid Halilhodzic spoke without restraint. "Today the Moroccan team has no chance of qualifying for the World Cup [...]. Everyone has to accept this little truth that always hurts so much," affirmed the coach of the Atlas Lions.
This shocking statement came after the results of the two friendly matches his players played at the Grand Stadium in Marrakech against Burkina Faso (1-1) and Niger (1-0). It seems that the Franco-Bosnian is not satisfied with the performances of his players.
