Morocco Coach Halilhodzic Bans Shisha and PlayStation to Improve Team Discipline

In the run-up to the derby of the Atlas Lions against Burkina Faso, Vahid Halilhodzic faced the press, before whom he lifted a corner of the veil on what will have to change in terms of discipline, under his management.
"The shisha, the PlayStation, I’m going to ban all that." Vahid Halilhodzic set the tone for the discipline that will have to prevail within the Moroccan national team. Known for his rigor, the coach will not make an exception for the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
With his players, the Franco-Bosnian wants to imprint his uncompromising style. His experiences at Raja, FC Nantes, and Côte d’Ivoire, speak to the man’s intrinsic qualities.
Moreover, a source within the Atlas Lions tells TelQuel that "from this first gathering, the difference has been felt."
"He is still not as close to the players as Renard was. He is not the kind of person to keep the relationship with his players purely professional, but he will not accept the slightest excess or lack of respect," continues the same source.
According to sources from TelQuel, Vahid Halilhodzic would have addressed the players upon their arrival in Marrakech, to dot the i’s and set the internal rules of the group.
