Morocco Extends COVID-19 State of Emergency Until November 30

The government decided, on Thursday, to extend the state of emergency throughout the national territory until November 30, 2021.
This measure is part of the efforts to fight the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, said the statement issued after the government council meeting held that same day.
Thus, the Ministry of the Interior is instructed to take all appropriate measures nationwide, it is specified.
As for the walis of the regions and the governors of the prefectures and provinces, they can take all the necessary executive measures at the level of a prefecture, province, commune or more, in order to maintain public order.
