Morocco Extends COVID-19 State of Emergency Until August 10 Amid Rising Cases

As feared by some with the multiplication of cases of covid-19 contamination, the state of health emergency has just been extended to August 10 throughout the national territory. This is the decision of the Council of Government, on Thursday in Rabat.
This extension until August 10 of the state of health emergency, according to the Council of Government, is part of the efforts made in the fight against the spread of the pandemic of the new coronavirus (Covid-19).
According to the presentation made by the Minister of the Interior, the state of health emergency throughout the national territory takes effect from July 10, 2021 at 6 p.m. until August 10, 2021 at 6 p.m.
According to the press release issued after the Council, the concern of the public authorities is to continue to work by all means to effectively fight against the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in Morocco.
