Morocco Eases Entry for Foreign Business Visitors, Boosting Economic Ties

From September 10, 2020, foreign professional visitors will be able to travel to Morocco "on simple invitation". The information comes from the boss of bosses, Chakib Alj, in a letter addressed to the members of the CGEM.
The President of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco (CGEM) has requested the supervisory authority to put in place, for this purpose, a single and simplified procedure.
Thus, "the invitations must be printed on the letterhead of the company that invites (including its identifiers, in particular its ICE, its RC number and its address). They must also be signed and stamped by an authorized person from the company, and include the purpose of the visit, the names and passport numbers of the visitors, their date of entry into Moroccan territory as well as their place of residence during their stay in Morocco" writes the boss of bosses.
They must of course comply with the health rules laid down by the authorities, in particular the obligation to carry out the required Covid-19 screening tests in advance.
"The CGEM’s request has been approved by Mr. Minister Nasser Bourita" reassures Chakib Alj.
