Morocco Reopens Borders to Foreign Tourists with Hotel Reservations

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has defined the terms of access to its flights after the Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, authorized foreign nationals holding a confirmed hotel reservation to access Moroccan territory.
Access to Morocco is now authorized for all foreigners from countries not subject to the visa requirement, RAM specifies in a press release. This measure concerns European countries but also Algeria.
The airline specifies that access to its flights necessarily requires "the invitation of a Moroccan company or a hotel reservation". This in strict compliance with the health measures in force since July 15 for Moroccans and foreigners residing in Morocco, in particular the obligation to present a negative Covid-19 test before boarding, RAM recalls.
"Compliance with the health rules issued by the authorities is still an obligation, the required Covid-19 screening tests are essential," it writes.
