Morocco Eases Curfew but Nightclubs, Concerts, and Stadiums Remain Closed

Despite the lifting of the night curfew, Moroccans will still have to do without concerts, nightclubs and stadiums. The Minister of the Interior recalled a series of measures still in force.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Abdelouafi Laftit clarified the easing of health restrictions announced by the government.
This is for the minister to specify that nightclubs must remain closed and that the organization of festivals and concerts is still prohibited, as well as access to stadiums hosting sporting events.
He also stressed the ban on public gatherings and meetings organized in spaces that cannot accommodate a large number of people.
To this end, Laftit called for vigilance and strict compliance with these measures, given the danger these places pose in the spread of Covid-19.
