Morocco Weighs COVID Measures as Epidemiological Situation Evolves

Decisions to toughen or reduce health measures in Morocco remain linked to the evolution of the epidemiological situation, according to the government spokesman.
"If the epidemiological situation is stable, the government will opt for the easing of restrictions and preventive measures, taking into account the economic interests of the country," said Mustapha Baitas, specifying that "it is premature to talk about the possibility of extending school holidays after some schools have closed their doors due to Covid-19."
For Baitas, the government "will study, during the month of January, whether the epidemiological situation will allow students to return to school or not."
