Morocco to Ease COVID-19 Restrictions, Introduce Vaccine Passport System

The Moroccan authorities, on the proposal and recommendations of the Technical and Scientific Committee, have decided to take new health measures very soon. As the epidemiological situation is improving significantly, these new health measures will allow Moroccans to regain some of their old habits.

According to the confidences made to SNRTnews by Saïd Moutawakil, member of the Scientific and Technical Committee, Moroccans will regain almost normal life in a few days.
"To access public places such as cinemas, football stadiums, restaurants, cafes and certain services, it will be enough to present the vaccination passport. Unvaccinated people will have to present a negative test less than 72 hours old," the specialist confides.
This decision was made in view of the significant decrease in infection cases for the 9th consecutive week, but also thanks to the results of the vaccination campaign.
The vaccination passport is an official document, downloadable from the "Liqahona" website. It provides information about the holder, the date of vaccination and the type of vaccine received.
