Morocco Considers Vaccine Passport Requirement for Public Venues

Will the vaccine passport soon be mandatory for Moroccans? The question arises since the publication by the Ministry of Health of an animated film between two characters. The latter discuss the vaccine pass and suggest, in the eyes of many Moroccans, that it would soon be compulsory.
A new weapon against Covid-19. Moroccans wishing to eat in a restaurant, go out with friends to a cafe, frequent a gym or attend a festival will have to present a vaccine passport in the next few days, according to a spot broadcast on channels and social networks from the Ministry of Health.
"If you don’t have the vaccine pass, you won’t be able to do anything," says one of the two characters in the visual, in which the health authorities are promoting the anti-Covid-19 vaccination. This is the very first official announcement regarding the generalization of the vaccine passport.
This proof of vaccination can be downloaded on the liqahcorona.ma website once the two doses of the Sinopharm, AstraZeneca or Pfizer vaccine have been administered. However, the date of the entry into force of this new provision has not yet been announced.
