Morocco Drops 9 Spots in Latest FIBA World Basketball Rankings

Bad news for the Moroccan basketball team, which has fallen 9 places in the latest ranking of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) for September.
Morocco finds itself with 124.4 points in 77th place, far behind Nigeria (19th) and Tunisia (20th), as well as Senegal (36th), Angola (39th) and Côte d’Ivoire (42nd). These are the consequences of the poor results recently recorded by the national basketball team.
The Moroccan team comes behind Luxembourg (76th) and ahead of Paraguay (78th). The United States takes the top spot in the ranking with 760.7 points. Spain, which won the European Championship, comes in second with 758.9 points. Australia is third with 741.1 points.
