Morocco Drawn in Group D for 2020 African Handball Championship

Following the draw for the African Nations Cup for Handball, CAN Tunisia 2020 seniors, held on Saturday evening in Gammarth in Tunis, Morocco was drawn in Group D alongside Algeria, Congo, Senegal and Zambia.
This position of the Kingdom could certainly allow it this year to stand out by bringing back the trophy of victory or by aligning itself in the top 3.
Scheduled for the period of January 16 to 24, 2020, the CAN Tunisia Handball seniors hosts 17 African nations for this 25th edition. For Le360, the final winner will validate the only qualifying ticket for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
As for the President of the African Handball Confederation (CAHB), Mansourou Arèmou, he announced the changes that will be observed during the 2021 Egypt Handball World Cup.
According to him, for the first time, 32 teams against 24 previously will be able to participate in this international competition with seven representatives from Africa.
For the same media, Egypt, one of the big favorites for the final victory, will compete in Group A alongside DR Congo, Guinea, and Kenya, while Tunisia, the defending champion and host country, will compete in Group C alongside Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire and Cape Verde.
As for Gabon, Nigeria, Angola and Libya, they are aligned in Group B.
