Morocco to Host 2020 Africa Futsal Cup, Drawn in Group A with Libya, South Africa
Morocco will face Equatorial Guinea, South Africa, and Libya in Group A, during the 6th edition of the Total Morocco 2020 Africa Cup of Nations Futsal. It will take place this year in Laâyoune from January 28 to February 7, 2020.
At the end of the draw held last Saturday at the Laâyoune Congress Palace, Egypt, Guinea, Angola and Mozambique were drawn into Group B.
This competition, which takes place every 4 years and pits the eight best national futsal teams in Africa, offers three tickets for the FIFA Futsal World Cup, scheduled for next year in Lithuania.
Since the start of this continental competition, the Moroccan team has won the Futsal CAN only once in 2016 in South Africa. As for Egypt, it holds three titles.
Here are the two groups of this tournament.
Group A: Morocco, Equatorial Guinea, South Africa and Libya
Group B: Egypt, Guinea, Angola and Mozambique.
