Morocco Dominates Equatorial Guinea 8-1 in Africa Cup of Nations Futsal, Advances to Semifinals

The Moroccan national Futsal team largely dominated its Equatorial Guinean counterpart in Laâyoune on Thursday, during the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) Futsal.
Morocco, the defending champion and host of the competition, thrashed Equatorial Guinea on Thursday by a clear score of 8-1, in the 2nd day of the CAN Futsal. The Atlas Lions defeated their challenger, thanks to a brace from Mohamed Achraf Saoud and goals from Mohammed Jaouad, Soufiane Mesrar, Saad Knia, Soufiane Bourite, Idriss Raiss Faiss and Hamza Bouizane.
The only goal for the opposing camp was scored by the Equatorial Guinean, Domingo Bamani. By defeating their challenger, Morocco advances to the semi-finals, after beating Libya (3-0) in the 1st round.
