Morocco Retains African Futsal Title, Earns FIFA Praise and World Cup Spot

Morocco has received congratulations from the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), after its second consecutive title at the 2020 Total Africa Cup of Futsal, held in Laâyoune.
"Congratulations to Morocco for retaining its title at Futsal-Total 2020. The Atlas Lions will represent Africa at the 2020 FutsalWC in Lithuania, along with Egypt and Angola," said the FIFA president on Twitter. The president praised the Lions for their brilliant performance.
Host of the 6th Total Africa Cup of Futsal 2020, Morocco defeated Egypt, (5-0), this Friday, at the Hizam Hall in Laâyoune and thus retains its continental title, won in 2016 in South Africa against the same Egyptians (3-2).
