Morocco Dominates Solomon Islands 6-0 in Futsal World Cup Opener

The national futsal team made a sensation on Monday, September 13, in its inaugural match at the 2021 World Cup, currently being played in Lithuania. Morocco beat the Solomon Islands (6-0) at the Zalgirio Arena (Kaunas) in the first-round match of Group C.
Since 2012, this is the first time Morocco has won a match at the Futsal World Cup. The goals were scored by Soufiane El Mesrar, Achraf Saoud, Idriss Raiss El Fenni, Bilal Bakkali and Otmane Boumezou.
In the second round of this group, Hicham Dguig’s men will face Thailand on Thursday, September 16 at 6 PM at the Zalgirio Arena, while the Solomon Islands will face Portugal the same day in the same hall (4 PM).
