Morocco Distributes Movement Certificates Nationwide as COVID-19 Lockdown Begins

The government has promised to distribute the "exceptional certificate of movement" to all homes across the national territory, as part of the state of health emergency and confinement, decreed from this Friday, March 20, 2020.
During a press statement, Governor Laaroussi Baloua, Director of Security and Documentation at the Ministry of the Interior, called on all citizens to present this document to the control agents deployed on the various streets and avenues.
According to the governor, the Ministry of the Interior has taken all the necessary measures to ensure the smooth running of the distribution operation, within the allotted time.
