Morocco Denies Plans to Replace French with English in Primary Schools

The Ministry of National Education has issued a formal denial following reports that English will now be the second language of instruction in primary schools from the next school year.
In a statement, the ministry warned against any unofficial communication involving its department. For the Ministry of National Education, there has never been any question of replacing French with English in primary education from the next school year.
The ministry also added that all communications from its department are published through its official portal and on its social media pages.
