Morocco Sets September 5 for 2022-2023 School Year Start Date

Moroccan students will return to school on September 5th for the 2022-2023 school year, according to the official calendar unveiled by the Ministry of National Education.
In a press release, the ministry states that as part of the plan to upgrade the quality of education, school support programs and learning support as well as collective exam preparation will be carried out.
According to the established school calendar, the administrative staff will resume on September 1st, the teaching staff will follow on September 2nd, while the students will join their classes from Monday, September 5th for the primary, preparatory and secondary levels. Non-formal education courses will resume on October 3rd.
Regarding the baccalaureate exams, the document specifies that they will take place on June 6 and 7 for the Scientific and Technical branch and on June 9 and 10 for the Literary branch. The exams of the second session are set from July 5 to 8, 2023. The first year baccalaureate exams are, for their part, scheduled, all branches combined, on May 29 and 30, 2023.
