Morocco’s COVID-19 Recovery Rate Surges to 40%, as Cases Top 5,700

The recovery rate in Morocco is rising as infections accelerate and the mortality rate is falling. In the last 24 hours, 145 new recovery cases have been recorded; bringing the total to 2,324, or a rate of 40.69%.
With 163 additional cases, Morocco now has 5,711 confirmed cases, 186 deaths (a mortality rate of 3.26%), 54,160 excluded after negative laboratory tests, and 3,201 cases under treatment.
Regarding the new distribution of positive tested cases, the Casablanca-Settat region remains the epicenter of infections in Morocco for several days. It currently has 1,579 cases, followed by Marrakech-Safi (1,143), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma (841), and Fès-Meknès (729).
